The remarkable investment in this airport promises to be a game-changer for Lao Cai province and the Northern Midlands and Mountains region, not only enhancing transportation but also facilitating economic development and strengthening national defense and security.

Lao Cai’s Promising Future:

According to the province’s visionary plan spanning from 2021 to 2030 with a vision to 2050, they aim to complete the Noi Bai – Lao Cai highway before 2025.
They also intend to upgrade and construct five national highways, ensuring smoother journeys for all travelers. To further enhance your travel experience, the province plans to build bypass or expansion routes in urban areas and explore tunnel construction for mountainous terrain. Railway intersections will be thoughtfully addressed with options like overpasses or underpasses, providing safety and convenience for travelers.
Lao Cai province will create border bridges and bridges over rivers and streams to boost cross-border trade, fostering economic growth. Additionally, a well-planned transportation network will connect Sapa Airport to various parts of Lao Cai, making your exploration of the region seamless.
The future of Lao Cai province is indeed promising, with the airport project acting as a catalyst for robust development in transportation infrastructure. This transformation will not only accelerate socio-economic and tourism growth but also provide job opportunities and improve the lives of local communities.
